Welcome Avis!

Longtime, active member Avis Y. Jackson joins the NABFEME management team as a Consultant, spearheading many events, activities and opportunities for the organization in the Atlanta area. Atlanta continues to be the fastest-growing metroplex in the US and we’re excited to grow right along with it.

Avis owns A.Y.J. Entertainment LLC., a professional management & operations service company that provides mobile and on-site Management, Production, Catering and Security/Logistics services to its clients.  A.Y.J. specializes in sectors associated with the arts, government, and performing arts, as well as music, film, television, and other entertainment entities. A.Y.J. Entertainment LLC has served as the Managing Company for Clayton County, GA Flint River Community Center Black Box Theater and as a government contractor.

An active member of NABFEME… Avis is also a reinvested career member of I.L.E.A. (International Live Events Association) & N.A.P.A.M.A. (North American Performing Arts Managers and Agents). Her tenure as an Event Coordinator for the City of Riverdale, GA, at the Community Town Center, (Cultural Affairs Department) extended her background and knowledge of community programming. She is creating an outlet for networking within the Clayton County Schools & Performing Arts programs, music production companies, community cultural organizations, women empowerment organizations, veteran organizations, independent visual artists, musicians, and performing artists.

Avis aims to align A.Y.J. Entertainment with projects attracting visual arts & museum lovers, concert & drama theatergoers, festival and carnival fans! As a native of Louisiana, Avis was raised in an atmosphere of cultural fun where families could eat, drink and be merry; at the same time, the community was filled with parades, balls, and many celebrations!

As a professional entertainment leader, Avis’ expertise with computer-aided designed programming for event layouts and strategic logistical programming for city-wide events and private social space at facilities is unparalleled.  She has worked closely with state and local officials, managers, and directors, as well as sitting on community boards such as a committee of city event planners, with direct access to promoters, producers, international performers, actors, and organizations securing talent for concerts within the southern metro cities.
