Discover the true essence of a leader in heels…. meet AIDS Activist & Survivor, Maria Davis! Maria was diagnosed with HIV in 1995 after unknowingly contracting the virus from her fiancé. Rather than letting her diagnosis define her, she transformed her experience into a powerful platform for education and advocacy. By partnering with organizations like LifeBeat: Music Industry Fights HIV and BET’s “Rap It Up” Community Service, she has actively engaged the community in crucial conversations around HIV awareness. Additionally, as a keynote speaker for the National Black Leadership Commission on AIDS, Inc., Maria inspires others to take action, demonstrating that knowledge and support can make a vital difference in the fight against HIV.
