Charlotte Anderson
Charlotte Anderson is an attorney who has practiced law in New York City for more than 20 years. A 1995 graduate of New York Law School, she was born in Harlem and raised in Queens, New York. Her main area of focus for many years was entertainment contracts and negotiations focusing on representing songwriters, performers and management agreements.
Since her retirement in 2015 she has dedicated much of her time to volunteering for non-profit organizations with purposes to educate, enhance and enrich lives of those in African- American communities while continuing to be an upstanding member of the New York State Bar and Southern District Court of the State of New York. She sits on the executive boards of various non-profit organizations.
Ms. Anderson is the New York Network Director of the National Association of Black Female Executives in Music and Entertainment (NABFEME). Under her leadership and belief that NABFEME offers extremely valuable programs and content, NABFEME New York has produced numerous events. These events have included Women Who Jam; events that support local artists, authors and performers; and seminars presenting professionals in the fields of mental, physical, financial and spiritual health.
Ms. Anderson is enthusiastic about all of the wonderful new things that NABFEME has to offer to its membership and is anxious to lead NABFEME New York into its next level. Charlotte Anderson, Esq. is the proud mom of two wonderfully successful daughters and one grandson.
