Shirley Lites
Shirley Lites is an International Recording Artist, having recorded for Atlantic, West End and Arista Records. with current recorded hits on Karmic Power Records and Midnight Riot Records, Shirley was band leader and background vocalist for Billy Paul for 16 years until his passing in April of 2016. She is the Philadelphia Operations Manager for NABFEME (National Association of Black Female Executives in Music and Entertainment).
A worldwide sensation, Shirley Lites has performed in Japan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, London, Israel, Instabul, Alaska, Algeria, Iceland, Portugal, Egypt,France, Greenland, Honduras to name a few. She has shared the stage with many well-known artists including Barbara Mason, Jean Carne, Scherrie Payne, Angela Bofil, Melisa Morgan, Melba Moore, Miles Jaye, Gladys Knight, Dorothy Moore, McFadden & Whitehead, Al Jarreau, Freddie Jackson, Howard Hewitt, Chaka Khan and more. Shirley's vocal range wows audiences everywhere she performs and her first commercial record, "Heat You Up/ Melt You Down" on West End Records set the stage for her recording success.
In the midst of 2020's challenges, Shirley still found the time and energy to get in the studio and produce new music. Her latest single "Every Side of Me" is rapidly heating up charts everywhere and is a mainstay on Women Who Jam! Radio.
